Retired Senior Vice-President of Research and Development, Elementis LLC, with more than 30 years’ experience in the chemical industry guiding innovation from discovery through commercialization. Led diverse teams in multi-national organizations through technical and commercial phases of new product development for the personal care, coatings and oil and gas industries. Effective communicator to industry and investor communities. Previously, senior lecturer in Chemistry at the University of Guyana, and head of the Analytical Chemistry Division at the Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IAST) from 1980 to 1984.
